We use a challenging but fun program that not only develops their martial arts skill but reinforces the values of respect and hard work that is taught by parents at home. We also stress to our students when it is okay use their martial arts for self defense. Before beginning the first lesson we make a promise with our students that they should never misuse the martial art that we teach them but to only use it if someone is physically trying to harm them and there is no other way to avoid the fight.
Beginners classes are designed to teach the basics of our system. Kids learn basic kicks, punches, self defense techniques, and kata.
Intermediate and Advanced classes are much more rigerous than the Beginners class. There is more emphasis put on technique and form. Sparring is added to the class curriculum to that our students can learn timing, precision, control.
While we teach each of the kids classes with the intention to have our students learn how to defends themselves, we also like to keep the energy of our classes fun and engaging so that everyone enjoys their class at the same time
